We all want to have a slim body, with no fat hanging from our bellies, or from anywhere else for that matter. Women are especially concerned with their appearance, and we want to come to your aid in this regard, by pointing you to the right direction and to the right remedies for your belly fat.

Cranberry Juice

The fat from your abdomen can be fought against through the acids present in cranberries (quinic, citric and malic acids), which is why you should take 7 cups of water and 1 cup of cranberry juice and mix them together. Drink twice a day for a month, without adding any sugar to it.

Garlic
This plant does wonders to your cardiovascular system, increases good cholesterol and lowers triglycerides, diastolic and systolic blood pressure. All you need is about 3 cloves of garlic, 1 glass of water and the juice from 1 medium-sized lemon. Mix the lemon juice with water, grind the garlic into a paste and then drink the entire mixture on an empty stomach every morning for about a month. You will surely see the results within a month when you are a determined person.

Lemon Water
Since the proper functioning of your liver is highly important in the entire fat losing process, we recommend that you drink a glass of moderately warm water mixed with some lemon juice on an empty stomach every day. The enzymes present in the lemon water will cleanse your liver from the excessive fat.

Ginger Tea
Acting as a digestive agent, ginger will reduce the accumulated fat from your waistline by increasing your temperature and promoting fat burn. We recommend that you drink ginger tea sweetened with honey twice a day.

Fish Oil
In order to get rid of the fat around your abdomen, your body needs omega 3 fatty acid, linoleic and icosapentanoic acids, all of which are fully present in fish oil.

Chia Seeds
A great alternative to fish oil (if you’re vegetarian, or simply don’t like fish), chia seeds are also rich in omega 3 fatty acid and antioxidants, iron, calcium and fiber as well, which act as a barrier against the constant need of food. Simply take 6-8 tsp. of chia seeds per day and it should be enough. You can also include them into your salads or other meals that you enjoy.

Water Before every Meal
You should drink a glass of water with about 5-10 minutes before you eat your meals, so that your stomach is filled with water and won’t have so much space for food. By doing so, you will lessen the level of fat from your body.

Diet and Exercise
As with any other weight losing process, your body needs to eat healthy food that protect your liver, as well as do regular workouts which will burn the fat and tighten the skin. By doing that, you will have a protective cover over the liver and also achieve faster results which will reward your commitment and hard work.

Even though they are harmless, warts can be embarrassing and disturbing at times. They are the result of a low immune system and besides the fact that they are contagious, they spread on the body relatively quick.

Here are 5 natural remedies against warts:

Lemon Juice – take a lemon and squeeze the juice. Grab a pad, dip it into the lemon juice and then apply on the warts. Repeat the process 3 to 4 times every day until it dries.

Garlic – despite its smell, garlic kills bacteria and dries the warts in a short time. Simply take a clove of garlic, mash it into a paste and cover the warts with it (you might want to increase the quantity if your warts are bigger or if you have more than 2-3). Cover the affected areas with a cloth or with band aid and allow it to act overnight. Remove the cloth in the morning and gently wash the region. Repeat until it dries off and falls down.

Vitamin C – take a vitamin C tablet, add some lemon juice and water to it and stir well. Apply the solution on the warts.

Banana Peel – this is highly useful when your kids have warts, because bananas are a known product to them and they will accept them easier than other medicines. Just apply a piece of banana peel on the wart before going to bed, cover it with a cloth and then take it off in the morning and cleanse the area.

Apple Cider Vinegar – due to its acid, ACV makes a great remedy against warts. Dip a pad into it and wrap the affected area. Maintain overnight and take off in the morning.

Your skin needs internal, as well as external care, which means you should eat a lot of salads with sprouts, radish, cucumber, tomatoes, beans, corns, etc., and drink up to ten glasses of fresh water every day. It is important that you hydrate properly to maintain a healthy looking skin. You can squeeze a few drops of lemon in your water from time to time, to control the secretions. Here are some tips on how to deal with oily skin.

Internally:

Avoid fried food in the summer! Instead, try eating roasted, steamed or baked food, and drink as much green tea as you can, which is a great antioxidant. Amlas are also good for you, as they are filled with vitamin C, which purifies your blood and delays ageing. One Amla per day would do the trick.

Externally:

Face Wash – Take 1 tsp. of fuller’s earth and mix it with ½ tsp. of gram flour and 1 tsp. of sandal wood powder. Then add ½ tsp. of rose water, ½ tsp. of lemon juice a pinch of turmeric and then pour some milk until you get a nice, smooth paste. Wash your face with the paste in the morning and in the evening. If you have leftover paste, store it in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Face Pack – Take 1 tsp. of honey, ½ tsp. of lemon juice and a pinch of turmeric. Mix them well together and then apply on the face and neck. Rinse with water after 15 minutes. Another method for oil reduction is through steaming. Take a cup of water and put 3 mint leaves in it, a little camphor and a little boric acid. Let it simmer for a few minutes and then place your face on the steams and remain there for about 3 minutes. Gently wipe your face and then wash with regular water.

Face Scrub – Take some wheat husk and mix it with some lemon drops and milk. Apply the mixture on the face and massage it circularly, then rinse. Repeat the process twice a week, as it stimulates your blood flow and also removes dead skin cells.

Castor oil is an amazing beauty product that stimulates hair growth. It does wonders to your eyelashes, but you can use it on your hair as well. Here are some tips on how to use castor oil on your hair to boost its volume, prevent breakage and promote regeneration.

Test it – with any new products, oil included, you should always perform a test on your inner arm to make sure your body doesn’t have an allergic reaction to them.

More Means Less – a small quantity of castor oil on your hair will do wonders. Avoid burdening your hair with oil as it will do more damage than good.

Repeat – go through this process one or twice a week

Damp Hair – it’s best that you have your hair damp, but not wet, so simply take a spray bottle and spritz your roots before you apply the oil

Leave Overnight – your hair absorbs the oil better if it’s left overnight, or for several hours. You can use a towel to keep it from dripping and staining your sheets

Egg – it might be difficult to remove the oil form your hair, so this will be helpful. Whisk an egg really well and then massage your scalp with it. It will absorb the oil and nourish your scalp instead. Be sure to do it while in the shower, though, because it is messy.

Conditioner – if you don’t like to make a mess, apply hair conditioner and massage it on the scalp. It will make it easier to remove the oil than with shampoo.

Combine – you can combine castor oil with other nourishing oils that will also repair the already damaged hair.

Here is the combination of oils that we recommend, but you can also try your own and perhaps even find a better one. What you need is 3 tbsp. of castor oil and 1 tbsp. of jojoba oil.

Pour the oils in a bottle (preferably dropper and dark colored) and shake it well. Apply with the dropper bottle on the scalp by parting your hair in stages until your entire scalp is coated with the oils. Massage the scalp for about 5 minutes to stimulate circulation.

Gently comb your hair and braid it in two sections. Take some peach kernel and then add the same amount of vitamin E oil (both can be bought from local pharmacies). Make some cotton balls, dip them into the solution and then apply on the braids. Let it act for two to four hours before unbraiding it and washing it as you normally do.

Wash your hair as usual and dry the excess water with a towel. Take some organic hair conditioner and mix it with an equal amount of organic honey. Apply the paste on the wet (not too wet though) hair from the middle to the end and cover it with a plastic bag or hair cap. For better results cover the hair cap with a towel and let it act for one to two hours before shampooing and rinsing. Repeat the process 1 or 2 times a month.

Large pores are the result of the environment, an inadequate skin care, aging and so on. They do not affect our health but they’re sure unaesthetic and shrinking them professionally costs close to a fortune. Here are some cheap and natural methods of tightening those large pores.

First of all, make sure you cleanse your face on a regular basis to remove any dead skin cells, dust and excess oil, which are one of the main reasons of large pores. When washing your face, use products that are rich in vitamin C, which increases elastin and collagen and tightens your skin.

1. Clay Mask – take any type of clay and dilute it with distilled water or green tea (1:1 proportion). Apply on your face and allow it to act for 20 minutes before washing off.

2. Almond Paste – soak some almonds in water and leave them hydrate overnight. The next day crush the almonds and then add corn syrup, granulated sugar and water and mix really well until turned into a paste. Apply this paste on your face and let it act for about 15 minutes before washing off with moderately warm water. In the end, apply an astringent.

3. Lemon Juice and Egg Whites – beat the egg white from an egg with 1 tsp. lemon juice and then apply on the face as a mask. Allow it to dry and then wash with warm water. Close the pores by ending with a cold face wash.

4. Cucumber Juice, Lemon Juice and Rose Water – take 1/2 cup cucumber juice, 1 tbsp. lemon juice and 1 cup rose water and stir them well together. Use the mixture regularly to tighten your pores.

5. Salt and Buttermilk – take 1/4 cup buttermilk and 1/2 cup of sea salt and mix until turned into paste. Apply on your face and relax for about half an hour before rinsing with cold water. The salt acts as exfoliant, removing oil, dead skin cells and dust, while the buttermilk tightens pores due to its lactic acid.

6. Sugar Scrub – mix together 1 tsp. lemon juice with 1 tsp. honey, 1 tsp. olive oil and then add some sugar crystals. Apply on the face and gently rub it. Rinse with lukewarm water.
